The $1,000 Challenge
Fifty Dishes. One Winner. $1,000.
Be the first person on the planet to cook your way through all 50 Kitchen Impossible recipe cards — and prove it — and we'll send you $1,000 USD, cash. No purchase of anything beyond the deck itself, no gimmicks, no fine-print gotchas.
This challenge is open globally — wherever you are, if you own the deck and you're cooking, you're in the running, starting January 1, 2027.
The Prize
$1,000, paid in US dollars, regardless of where in the world you live. One winner — first verified finisher takes it all.
How to Enter
There's no sign-up and no entry form. The challenge goes live on January 1, 2027 — from that date, if you're cooking your way through the deck and documenting it as described below, you're competing. Dishes prepared before the challenge goes live do not count, even if posted after January 1, 2027.
How to Win
Be the first person to publicly prove you've completed all 50 dishes, following the proof requirements below. Once we've verified your 50th dish, you're the winner.
Proof Requirements
To be eligible to win, every dish has to be documented the same way:
- Cooked on or after January 1, 2027. Only dishes prepared from the challenge's live date onward count toward the 50. Any dish cooked, photographed, or filmed before January 1, 2027 will not be accepted as proof, even if it otherwise meets every requirement below.
- Post it on Instagram. Each completed dish gets its own post on your own Instagram profile — not just a story, not a private account we can't see. Tag @kitchenimpossibleclub and use #KitchenImpossibleClub so we can find it.
- Minimum 200 followers. The Instagram account you're posting from needs at least 200 followers at the time of posting. This is a fraud-prevention measure, not a popularity contest.
- Video evidence is mandatory. A plated photo isn't proof you cooked it — we need to see you actually making the dish. Each post needs video (a reel or a stitched-together story sequence works) showing the real cooking process: your ingredients, your hands, your kitchen, start to finish. A last-second photo of the finished plate with no cooking footage will not count.
- No AI-generated content, anywhere in the post. No AI-generated photos or video of the dish, no AI voiceover standing in for you, no synthetic "cooking" footage. This has to be you, in your kitchen, actually cooking.
- All 50 dishes, all 50 posts. You need a complete, public trail across all 50 cards before you're eligible to be declared the winner.
Verification — How We Check
Because real money is on the line, claiming the win isn't just "post your 50th dish and collect." Once someone appears to have completed all 50 with proof, we verify before any prize is paid:
- We review all 50 posts against the actual recipe card requirements — dish, technique, and proof of process.
- We may request the original, unedited video files directly from the entrant, including file metadata (timestamps, device info) — not just the edited version posted to Instagram.
- Once you've posted your 49th dish, we'll DM you a one-time verification code. Your final dish's video has to include you saying that code on camera, in addition to the cooking itself.
- We reserve the right to disqualify any entry we determine — at our discretion — to be AI-generated, staged, reused from elsewhere, or otherwise not authentic.
Eligibility & Fine Print
- Open to entrants worldwide, except where prohibited by local law.
- Entrants must be at least 16 years old to be eligible. Prize payout is via PayPal, so winners will also need to meet PayPal's own account requirements in their country — which may mean a parent or guardian's account for entrants under 18.
- Employees, contractors, and immediate family of Kitchen Impossible are not eligible.
- This challenge has no scheduled end date — it runs until the first entrant is verified as having completed all 50 dishes, at which point the challenge closes and the prize is paid.
- Winner will be notified via Instagram and asked to confirm PayPal details. Prize will be paid within 30 days of verification via PayPal.
- Winner (or their parent/guardian, if under 18) is solely responsible for any taxes owed on the prize in their country of residence.
- Kitchen Impossible reserves the right to verify entries, request additional proof, disqualify fraudulent or incomplete entries, and has final say on all judging decisions.
- Kitchen Impossible may modify, pause, or end this challenge at any time.
- This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram or Meta.
